With nearly 20 years technical diving expereince, Aquanauts' staff of tech diving instructors can teach the entire menu of tech options, from deep, decompression diving to trimix to rebreathers to cave diving. In addition to the permanent staff below, Aquanauts also can call on some of the tech-diving industry's most-expereinced freelance instructors.

Roger M. Smith

A mutli-agency dive instructor since 1990, Smith has built an impressive portfolio of professional certifications, allowiing him to train divers to the highest levels of recreational and technical diving. In addition to being Aqunaauts' managing director, Smith is a PADI Platinum Course Director, Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer and can train divers in all 26 PADI Specialty Courses. He is also an instructor trainer for Divers Alert Network and PERT, the Professional Emergency Response Training organization.

On the technical front, Smith is a DSAT Tec Deep and Tec Trimix Instructor Trainer and ANDI Instructor.who can teach the fully-clloosed Evolution CCR, Drager semi-closed rebreather and cavern and cave diving. His complete list of technical instructor ratings include:

Daniel Beldon

Beldon trained to become a dive instructor through Aquanauts' Aquanauts Complete Internship Program and is now not only a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, but a DSAT Tec Trimix and Tec Deep Instructor. He also holds instructor ratings under TDI.
