ANDI Extended Range & Tri-Mix Courses
Extended Range Diver
Prerequisite: Technical SafeAir Diver with 100 dives.
In this 50-meter course, you will be using more equipment and more mixtures of gases. You will be using double tanks with two different mixtures of decompression gasses. Decompression is unlimited. This course has a minimum bottom time of 120 minutes and runtime of 240 minutes. This course will allow you to use any oxygen nitrogen gas mix it is an exploration training course in practical deep diving methodology. Maximum depth: 50 meters. Dives: 4.
Intermediate Tri-Mix Diver
Prerequisite: Technical SafeAir Diver with 100 dives.
This program is designed to train those who wish to dive to depths between 39 and 60 meters but who do not wish to breathe air below 39m. Tri-mix affords a means of reducing narcosis on dives to such depths. Diving in the 40-60m range utilizing helium mixes breathable on the surface and one or two decompression gases. The course uses normoxic mixtures, i.e mixtures with near "normal" oxygen content ~21% which means all gases are breathable on the surface. The course does not qualify the diver to use hypoxic mixtures to participate in dives deeper than 200fsw/ 60m.
Trii-Mix Diver
Prerequisite: Technical SafeAir Diver with 100 dives
The dive depth limit for the tri-mix course is 100 meters. You will learn the importance of using helium to get rid of oxygen toxicity and get rid of the problems with nitrogen narcosis. Minimum bottom time is 75 minutes with a run time of 240 minutes. This course will allow you to use any gas mix. It is an exploration training course in practical deep diving methodology max 100m (4 dives)
